Saturn is the angel of death. Saturn is the ultimate truth of
reality. It is the realization of divinity through sacrifice and
hard lessons. Saturn is cold and demanding. Saturn gives structure,
foundation, and discipline. Saturn helps us to honor our ancestors
and traditions of the past. Saturn causes delays and difficulties.
Saturn contracts, causing decay.


Surya - the Sun

The Sun is the source of light. It is the divine spark of
consciousness. It is bright and shining with light and heat. It is
the source of all that we experience. It is the father of creation.
It is our sense of individuality and confidence. It gives vitality
and strong personal presence. It is will and focus.

Chandra - The Moon

The Moon is the mind. The mind is an organ of perception. The Moon
reflects the light of the Sun in changing phases. The Moon is the
mother of experience. The Moon carries our consciousness through
changing forms so that we can experience life. The Moon is
intuition, nurturing, and introspection. It is how we relate to
ourselves and others.


Kuja - Mars

Mars is energy moving through matter. Mars produces dynamic energy
and conflict. Mars is destructive masculine energy. It is forceful
and aggressive. Mars is explosive, causing accidents and injuries.
Mars is also the warrior, granting courage. Mars gives us strength
and fortitude to reach our goals.

Budha - Mercury

Mercury is the intellect. The intellect is the ability to weave raw
perception into an interpretation of reality. Mercury is the
communicator, helping to translate information with words and
symbols. Mercury is the messenger between worlds, the guide at the
crossroads, who is able to go back and forth between opposite
extremes. Mercury is the trickster, able to mimic other planets.

Guru - Jupiter

Jupiter is the guru or teacher. Jupiter is the wisdom within the
center of our being. It provides everything necessary for life.
Jupiter gives great wealth, knowledge, and wisdom. Jupiter is the
abundance that flows from our connection to spirit. Jupiter is
constructive masculine energy. Jupiter expands, causing growth.

Shukra - Venus

Venus is desire opening to itself. Venus is the _expression of love
through beauty, art, and compassion. It delights in the beauty and
pleasure of creation. Venus helps us to take delight in one another,
through sex and intimate relationships. Venus is feminine energy,
sometimes constructive and sometimes destructive. Venus shows us our
heart's true desire.
