sit empty day upon day stretching into the new year. With new tears the girl would look in the basket when he was asleep everyday, knowing it was empty, hoping it wasn't. With the total dedication of early childhood, these two children fought, her knowing and her hope, Drawing great armfuls of blue roses from each battle. He awoke to find the basket full of flowers he only dreamed he had planted.
